Twin Peaks - Fascinating Fact 5418
Brothers Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg are all over the news these days, with rapper-turned-actor Mark about to be a new father and Donnie's old-school boy band New Kids On the Block enjoying a long-anticipated reunion.
However, when we caught up with the man formerly known as Marky Mark, he told OK! that he likely won't be bringing kids Ella, 4, and 2-year-old Michael to see their uncle Donnie perform live anytime soon.
"They're probably still a little bit young for all that gyrating and stuff," Mark explained to OK! at the NYC premiere of his new film, The Happening, on Wednesday. "They went to The Wiggles concert, they went to the Doodlebops. And they just went to Elmo this weekend. That's about their speed."
Despite the fact that the little Wahlbergs will be absent at the NKOTB concerts, Mark is still very supportive of his big bro's music career. "I know my brother's very talented. He has something up his sleeve."
Another brotherly connection Mark's new film, The Happening, is directed by M. Nighy Shyamalan, who had cast Donnie almost a decade ago in his hit movie, The Sixth Sense.

Funnyman DAVID SPADE is reportedly set to become a first-time father after learning his ex-girlfriend, Playboy playmate JILLIAN GRACE, is pregnant.
The couple dated briefly last year (07), according to In Touch Weekly magazine, and now Grace has announced she is pregnant with the actor's baby.
The 43-year-old, who is 21 years older than the model, has yet to publicly admit the baby is his, but tells In Touch, "If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility."
According to an item in today's New York Post, there's a bit of tension between Mario Lopez and one of his co-stars in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line and it all appears to revolve around skimpy men's clothes.
First, the article claims that the Dancing With the Stars runner-up requested a costume change for muscular co-star Nick Adams so as to not have his own bulging biceps be upstaged.
And now comes a report that men's underwear company 2(x)ist, which had been about to sign Mario for a new ad, has kicked the Saved By the Bell star to the curb and selected you guessed it archrival Nick as the fella to go shirtless in their skivvies.
"Mario was originally No. 1 on our radar as we planned the campaign," the article quotes an insider as saying. "We were ready to call him with an offer, but then we saw Nick. He's younger, sexy, more interesting. On top of that, his body was crazy. We set up a meeting, and when he walked in, that was it. We never even looked at anyone else after that."

Katherine Heigl won't be chewing her manicure at this year's Emmy ceremony: She says she didn't seek a nomination because "Grey's Anatomy" failed to deliver the goods for an award-worthy performance.
Heigl, who was honored as best supporting actress in a drama last year for the ABC series, declined to put her name in consideration for a bid, a spokeswoman for the actress said Wednesday.
"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization" decided against competing, Heigl said in a written statement provided by her publicist, Melissa Kates, who was contacted by the AP.
"In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials," added Heigl. She plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy," which slipped in the ratings this past season but remained a top 10 show.
An after-hours message left with a publicist for "Grey's Anatomy" creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes was not immediately returned Wednesday night.
Heigl, who shot to box-office success last summer with the comedy "Knocked Up," has established herself as one of Hollywood's rare voices of candor.
In a Vanity Fair magazine interview published in January, she called the hit film "a little sexist" and said that it painted women as "shrews, as humorless and uptight," while the male characters were lovable and goofy.
Heigl also was outspoken when "Grey's" castmates Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight clashed last year over Washington's alleged use of a homophobic slur.
"I'm going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period," Heigl said at one point of Washington, who ended up being booted from the medical drama.
Nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced July 17. The ceremony is Sept. 21.
LATEST: Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE won't be charged with drug offences, relating to a video handed to police showing her supposedly taking narcotics.
The tape was given to cops in London in January (08), prompting her arrest last week (8May08). She was questioned and released on bail.
A week on (14May08), Winehouse's representatives are happy to announce police have dropped all charges.
And the singer has vowed to bring an end to her brushes with the law, and concentrate on her music.
Her spokesperson tells WENN, "Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against Amy Winehouse in relation to an investigation into a video handed to them in January.
"She was questioned by police last week and released on unconditional bail. They have now concluded their enquiries and no charges will be brought. Amy's bail date to return to Limehouse police station has been cancelled, bringing this matter to an end.
"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer."
